Let's cut to the chase. He said (for those of you too lazy to read his long and repetitive letter):
Most of the unsuccessful candidates who appealed seem to have all the requirements but failed in the interview
How the two interviewers manage to identify potential candidates in such a subjective manner is beyond me.
The PSD must come clean if it is to convince the people that their activities are ethically correct.
There are many complaints about children of well-to-do people receiving these scholarships.
O-k-a-y... Fine and dandy. Your usual letter of complaint. But then, he said this!
Any perceived lack of transparency can be dispelled if only the PSD publishes the list of candidates and the addresses (!) of those who got this privilege.
Manglish Alert
Wah liau! You want my address ah?! Siau meh?! Thank god no one idiot enough to give you my address, man! What the hell do you want my address for?! Want to see how many hectares of garden i have? Want to see how many BMWs I have? What you want to do? Burn my house? Mogok in my porch? Bomb my (very expensive) fuel tank?
This dude seriously needs to rethink his request for addresses to be made public. Homes are where folks seek rest and respite. And a certain degree of privacy. And a credible illusion of safety. If the government publishes my address to the general public, I can guarantee you all that sense of security will vanish.
I know I'm being paranoid and unrealistic. But that was the impression I got when I read it. And that was what made me laugh! Addresses! Give me a break.
Know what the best part is? This dude is from Taiping.
Excuse me while I drop by a pet shop to get me a Rottweiler.
