I now realize the main reason Ivies will not want me. The first thing they will see in me that will make them throw my application into the bin without even looking at anything else.
Laziness.
Ironically, that is also why I want to get into Ivies so much.
@charis: the half-baked responses and general grammar flaws should do the trick! oh, and missing documents too. and teacher recommendations. those should wrap things up pretty well :)

Just curious - how is it that they will see 'laziness' when reading your application?
You're not going to write that as your hobby, right? ;)
I'm lazy to apply twice too. But I'll already have all my essays, recommendation letters, etc by then, and it shouldn't be a problem.
I just hate the thought of needing to pay for all the postage and stuff since we used up our 4 free schools in whatsoever test we took.
And I'm still bitter about TOEFL. Grr... I have to pay when there's free? That's bullshit!!!
With procrastination as a predominant trait to some of us, the playing field just be levelled. >:D
